2002 Fender CIJ TL-52V Telecaster, Blonde

2002 Fender CIJ TL-52V Telecaster, Blonde

A great little Tele, a CIJ TL-52V from 2002, built in Japan with classic early ’50s blackguard specs.

Constructed with an Ash body and a Maple neck, this model delivers a classic Tele sound with tight low end, clear mids, and plenty of twang! This example features a replaced bridge pickup with a Tonerider Hot Classic, adding a little more output and midrange push while retaining the core Tele character.

The neck has a comfortable, fuller "V" profile, paired with a vintage-style 7.25" fingerboard radius that keeps things period-correct in feel. Hardware and styling follow the classic template, including the three-saddle bridge, single ply black pickguard, Kluson tuners and traditional appointments throughout.

Presented in very good condition, with light signs of use consistent with age, this is a solid, dependable Japanese Telecaster with a straightforward, workhorse appeal.
