2009 Fender Custom Shop '59 Esquire, Blonde, Lefty

2009 Fender Custom Shop '59 Esquire, Blonde, Lefty

A very cool, rare, left-handed Custom Shop Relic '59 Esquire with just the right amount of ageing, giving that desirable vintage look and feel without being over the top. This is a great looking guitar. The ageing to the butterscotch blonde finish is tastefully done, the neck has a nice worn-in feel without being overly stripped of it's lacquer, and the fingerboard wear is more subtle and tasteful than on some others. The pots have been changed out at some point, but aside from that it looks to be all original. This one is a toploader with no holes through the body leaving the back free to display the rather nice linear graining to the Ash. It's lightweight, resonant and great to play.

All in all a great example of a rarely seen left-handed Esquire complete with tweed case.
